This weapon can be used by engineers to spycheck, and while spychecking with this thing, it would get rid of the spies most effective means of escape and also get rid of their main form of offense. While it may be true that yes, the knife is a melee, not a primary, and you can do damage with a knife, but using only the knife and no revolver, that would be really stupid. And this weapon would completely counter two play styles to the point that they are useless. It would counter both dead ringers and eternal reward users. Let us start with dead ringer first. If your pull out your dead ringer for escape and taking even the littlest damage will set off the dead ringer, including damage from this weapon. And because of the recent nerf from the gun mettle update, the cloak from the dead ringer is reduced to half upon activation. And since you got hit by this weapon, not only do you drop your cloak, but you also lose it immediately, because this reduces a spies cloak by 60% so its like a pomson on steroids. And as for the eternal reward, you can't disguise unless you backstab the person you want to disguise as, and without a disguise, the only way you can get behind enemies is by cloak, and if you get hit by this thing, you have no cloak. And in both instances, you won't have a primary, meaning if you are trying to escape after losing your dead ringer, you won't have any long range primary so you can't fight back, and no long range primary while in retreat as the enemy team is chasing you and u cannot disguise.
